About the Artist





Lynne Klemmer is an artist living and working in Lexington, MA. Her paintings draws on a wide range of influences: folk and aboriginal art traditions, modernist artists such as Edvard Munch and Alexander Calder, and the contemporary works of Kerry James Marshall. She has also drawn inspiration from her and her husband’s growing collection of Inuit sculptures and prints.

For the last 10 years, Klemmer has been working in her studio full time. Previously, she has held  careers in interior and landscape design. She received a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College, and is a graduate of New England School of Art and Design.
